All of A2Z teachings are offered on a Noble Giving scale, with 4 tiers of suggested ranges based on financial ability. A2Z does not turn away anyone for lack of funds. The beauty of this system is that many practitioners and newcomers who cannot afford other dharma practice opportunities are able to access consistent and attentive practice with a devoted teacher. Rev Liên is committed to continuing this accessibility, and asks for the generosity of those who have the financial means to support the work of A2Z to deepen and to radiate out to where it is needed.

This past year, A2Z had an exciting first: Our first residential 5-day silent retreat at Joshua Tree! We envision another retreat in 2025. Stay connected with us to be one of the first to join our 2nd A2Z retreat! Time together for Rev Liên and A2Z students to deepen into dharma, and nourish one another with the jewel of sangha, is vital to sustain this life-long inner work. We hope as many people can join us, and your contributions will directly make that possible!

Many students also completed the first year of Access to Zen Practice Training program, which was no easy feat! Some will continue onto year 2 of the program in 2025, Awareness & Interconnection, which also involves stepping into deeper leadership roles in the greater sangha. Together, we will co-create a living community of practitioners committed to bringing Buddhist values into our world. We couldn’t be prouder!

As we work to face the challenges of these times, we can embrace our Generational and Ancestral Resilience. Knowing we have strong, connecting roots in practice is important. Although at times the world can seem flooded with pain, inside of each of us is a strong foundation passed down from innumerable beings who made it through difficulties. Let’s not waste this life. Let’s believe in joy.
