Session 2 of 2 (August 8 and August 15*)

With the container established from the first workshop,* we will explore the question of how do we enact our vow within our complex relationships with others and in community? Are we using our energies or are they using us?

How can we find applications from our lineage and institutional teachings, such as the “Standards of Pure Conduct” (in Japanese, “shingi”) and Sexual Ethics Statement, that will support our everyday interactions and relationships? In the midst of complex hierarchies and power dynamics we face in our work and intimate environments, how can we enact healthy and responsible responses?

Join us as we explore what it means to practice while maintaining a healthy, upright, and embodied relationship to our sexuality.

*You are encouraged to attend both workshops but it’s not necessary.
